Day 1
Arrive at Ernakulam Junction in the morning and board your private cab for a 2-hour drive to Athirappilly. After checking into your forest resort, take the 1 km trek down to the thunderous base of the famous Athirappilly Waterfall. Follow this with a visit to the nearby serene Chunyanmakkal Waterfall and cross the adjoining scenic Hanging Bridge. Fall asleep to the calming sounds of the jungle and crashing waters right outside your window.
Day 2
Check out after breakfast and begin your driving ascent into the Western Ghats toward the mist-covered hills of Munnar. Along the winding route, pull over for a relaxing boating break on the tranquil waters of Ponmudi Dam. Continue up the ghat roads to make a scenic pitstop at Nadukani Viewpoint, celebrated for its refreshing breeze and valley vistas. Arrive in Munnar by late afternoon, check into your stay and enjoy a cozy evening at leisure.
Day 3
Head out early to Kundala Dam for a calm Shikara or pedal boat ride next to its lakeside park. Next, visit Mattupetty Dam and the legendary Echo Point, where you can opt for high-speed boating, paddle boating, or kayaking. In the afternoon, explore the Floriculture Centre (Rose Garden) (₹50/- entry) and take a guided walkthrough of the Tea Museum. Conclude your day riding the forest shuttle up Eravikulam National Park (₹200/- PP) to view Anaimudi Peak and the rare Nilgiri Tahr goats.
Day 4
Check out from Munnar and journey down the winding mountain roads toward the wildlife hub of Thekkady. After a smooth 3-hour transit, check into your property (such as Spice Grove) and unwind before your afternoon activities. Head out for a popular Elephant Ride (₹500 - ₹1000/- PP) and enjoy an educational walk through a local spice estate. In the evening, visit the Thekkady Kathakali Centre (₹200 - ₹300/- PP) to witness traditional Kathakali dance and Kalaripayattu martial arts.
Day 5
Enjoy an early morning boat safari on Periyar Lake inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve to spot wildlife at the water's edge (Entry: ₹450/-, Boat: ~₹300/-). Complete a swift check-out by 9:30 AM and take a 4-hour drive down the hills straight to the backwater jetty of Alleppey. Board your private Moving Houseboat strictly before 1:00 PM to maximize your cruise time and savor a freshly cooked traditional lunch. As per safety rules, the boat anchors along the banks by 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, allowing you to enjoy a quiet sunset and onboard dinner.
Day 6
Step off your houseboat after breakfast and board a traditional Chota Boat (Shikara/Canoe) to explore the narrow inner canals up close (approx. ₹1000 - ₹1500/-). Begin your drive south, breaking up the trip with a stop at the spectacular Jatayu Earth's Center for a 30–40 minute walk. Hop onto the exhilarating 2-minute Ropeway/Cable Car ride to the summit to view the world’s largest concrete bird sculpture (~₹400/- PP). Arrive in Varkala by evening, check into your beach resort, and walk along the striking Varkala Cliff for sunset and a beachside dinner.
Day 7
Check out from Varkala and drive south to Poovar Island to board a motorboat for a backwater cruise through dense Mangrove Forests. Sail right up to the golden beachside sand spit where the river meets the open sea, then take a short drive to Kovalam. Check into your resort for a 2-night stay and head out to explore Kovalam’s photogenic sunset coast. Beach-hop across Lighthouse Beach to climb the spiral stairs for $360^\circ$ views, try water sports at Hawa Beach, and stroll along Samundra Beach.
Day 8
Leave your luggage at the resort and take a day trip driving south across the state border into Tamil Nadu to reach Kanyakumari. Take the public ferry out across the crashing waves to visit the iconic offshore Vivekananda Rock Memorial, the grand statues, and the museum. Spend your evening taking a scenic walk across Kanyakumari's unique coastal Glass Bridge and witness a legendary multi-ocean sunset. After the sun dips below the horizon where the three seas meet, enjoy a comfortable drive back to your resort in Kovalam.
Day 9
Check out early from Kovalam by 8:30 AM with your luggage loaded in the cab to dedicate the day to Trivandrum city landmarks. Tour the beautiful, historical Vettukad Church and visit the grand, gold-plated Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple (strict Dhoti/Saree dress code applies). Break for an authentic Kerala vegetarian lunch at the popular Annapurna Hotel near Kalakappatha, then visit Napier Museum and Kuthiramalika Palace. Head directly to Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station for your final drop-off by 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM to board your train home.

Payments Terms
- To confirm your trip booking with Curated Routes, a 50% advance payment is required once the tour package is finalized. This advance helps us secure hotel reservations, transportation, permits, and other travel arrangements.
- The remaining payment schedule is as follows:
- 20% payment to be made 4–7 days before the trip start date.
- 20% payment to be made on the first day of the trip.
- The final 10% payment to be cleared at the end of the trip.
- For booking confirmation, all travelers are required to provide a valid government-issued identity proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.).
- As your bookings are confirmed, we will share the necessary travel vouchers and booking confirmations. A detailed final invoice will be provided upon completion of the trip.
